Ever heard of putting one on a 1st gen to get better air flow? Said that on some 1st gen's might just have to trim hood a bit. Heard about it over on cumminsfourm.com.

 

the stock 24V intakes are restrictive if you going to upgrade get something after market , dont banks have one for a 1st gen?

 

The Cali 24v intakes are the one to stay away from. If you want one, and they are a good upgrade from a 1st gen stock. Make sure you get pics first. The Cali ones are choked down bad ..Worse than N/IC'd 1st gen...Last one that I had seen for sale was in the less than $30.00 range..........

24V intakes are junk ! there's lots of options out there

 

24V is nicer then teh VE but its still pretty bad. IF you look around for my H1C hybrid turbo thread yuo will see the homemade intake I made.
