picked up turbo esed wuold like to flush out oil passage and clean up what would be a good chem to use

Maybe a light weight oil? I would guess anything that is made to put in a crankcase to clean an engine would work. But remember that most that stuff is supposed to be diluted in the engine oil. Thats why I say to just run some clean oil through it. pour it in the top, rotate the shaft a while booth ways and let it drain out the bottom.

^^^x2. Running cleaners through it, and you take the chance of drying out the seals. Dry them out, install turbo with brittle seals. Oil and maybe a run away..
