DennyT stage 2 fuel pin

Well got my gagues on order but won't be here till the week after next monday or tuesday. But was thinking of getting the fuel pin ordered and try and get it before this coming weekend of muddi gras, may 22-24. Was also going to take the air box lid off to help with alittle more air flow till I get cold air intake. I will be towing my 75' GMC mud truck for about 45-hour. Yall think ill be okay or no?

I would definately install the Denny-T pin and you really should get your 366 spring installed as that is really going to make a significant difference for you as much better RPM's, however if you do any upgrading before you get gauges installed, you really just have to be careful as to your EGT's and other component temps. It is nicer to have had a reference point before installing the other upgrades so you know what differences your really making, oh but of course, you will FEEL those anyway. :U: The lid-off is probably a good idea for a temporary until you change out the cold-air with after-market. I did that on my own and what a great difference it makes when I tow.

If you dont have your gages in I would not tow with ANY fuel mods, The DennyT pin would probably be fine but you never know how your truck is going to take it, they are all different. Did you read the info in your last thread about doing a BHAF and homemade mount for your air filter?

RSWORDS, you are absolutely correct, as all trucks and dependant upon what has already been done (upgrades) and what a person's application is, as I found out that after installing the Denny Stage II pin and the 366 spring, I certainly have more power however, heat-up is very quick to 1000 EGT, than for more than 3 minutes of acceleration, up hill, I go to 1100. For this pulling a 7-ton RV, I am now getting all the items together from your info you provided here at DB's for the valet swt installation. I think I need to do that before the next camping trip sir. Thank you for providing such great info to us all and for the even better detail in your steps, you always provide man!! :U:
