DennyT stage 2 fuel pin
Well got my gagues on order but won't be here till the week after next monday or tuesday. But was thinking of getting the fuel pin ordered and try and get it before this coming weekend of muddi gras, may 22-24. Was also going to take the air box lid off to help with alittle more air flow till I get cold air intake. I will be towing my 75' GMC mud truck for about 45-hour. Yall think ill be okay or no?

If you dont have your gages in I would not tow with ANY fuel mods, The DennyT pin would probably be fine but you never know how your truck is going to take it, they are all different. Did you read the info in your last thread about doing a BHAF and homemade mount for your air filter?

haha yea about. I was curious if it would be alright for the trip or not, but got my guages yesterday, hopefully my pillars show up today, than there gettting hooked up tommrow. Than next hopefully 16mm housing and fuel pin.
|
I ran my gauges sitting on my dash with soem tape for a couple weeks before I got the time to mount them. :D
You 93 has the 18.5 housing on it right? I would not waste my time/money on a 16 housing, not enough of a difference, go for a 14 if you want. Or use that money to save up for a new turbo (HX40, 35/40 hybrid, S300 ect) |

RSWORDS, you are absolutely correct, as all trucks and dependant upon what has already been done (upgrades) and what a person's application is, as I found out that after installing the Denny Stage II pin and the 366 spring, I certainly have more power however, heat-up is very quick to 1000 EGT, than for more than 3 minutes of acceleration, up hill, I go to 1100. For this pulling a 7-ton RV, I am now getting all the items together from your info you provided here at DB's for the valet swt installation. I think I need to do that before the next camping trip sir. Thank you for providing such great info to us all and for the even better detail in your steps, you always provide man!! :U:
I'm learning like everyone else... Sometime it works and sometimes it dont, there are PLENTY out there that know more then I. |

Well my pyro is about 500-600 about 800-900 at wot. Tranny is about 160-180. Boost at wot is 15-17, 0 just iding and cruising.

With those EGT's your turbo is doing its job. What are the temps towing?
|
I don't know just got the gagues friday night put on, so i've only had them for about 2 days today.
|
so do yall think id be save getting a dennyt with what my temps are or adjusting my pump? Was thinking of going out and turning the screw 2 turns?
|
You might want to see were you sit at towing now, Then with some pump mods. If you still have room go for the pin. You are going to need a turbo soon though if you want to tow any thing heavy w/o melting the engine.
