here is a picture of the long block that I ordered and I'm getting ready to tear into it.
you can also see the piston that I will be using along with the water pump and the p-inline gear cover.
the pistons have been weighed and balanced, the p-inline pump has also been tweaked, all you have to do to the pump is ground the fuel plate and you get instant 60 sometimes 70 hp.
the crank will be sent off to be balanced.
conn rods are also balanced.
I don't have my marine cooling nozzles yet, waiting on those to arrive.
this set up, when I'm done with just stock, I should be right at 500 or more.

i would recommend having the whole rotating assembly balanced together.......not a good idea to do it seperately......that can make for some serious vibrations......while you got everything apart i would do head and main studs, and better rod bolts just because, i would also take the pump to a good shop and have them do everything you can to it (4GSK, DV's, custom plate, mack plug, AFC kit......) along with everything else then have it bench flowed......oh and dont forget about a Fluidampr, if you go to Blank you can get the damper and pickup cheaper than anywhere ive found.....you will also need the locating pin kit too for the balancer, you can get that from several places on here......also look into having the bowls on the pistons opened up some to lower the compression a little since im assuming your going to be bolting a big charger on it and using big sticks and having the bearings and pistons coated, along with shot peening the rods......
