please tell me the SVO is going to stay original and you aren't going to put a V-8 in it.

probably around 2.7 liters of stroked and poked, turbocharged ford fury........no way i would V8 that thing......its in pretty **** poor shape but i think its still saveable, if not we might just have to strip it for parts and bolt it under another 4 cylinder car......im not sure on the floor pans cause its been under a lean-too for several years, my brother wouldnt do anything with it......

hopefully the car is saveable, the rear wing is junk, needs painted, engine needs completely rebuilt along with a clutch and the turbocharger needs redone too......whats nice is that the 84.5 is the rarest of all the SVO's......

not really.... the 85.5 comp prep is. it has the 86 nose, manual windows, no radio, no a/c, no sunroof, manual locks and then if you had the bi-wing delete from the factory it would make it super rare..... actually there is a guy on TF that has one of the rarest i have ever seen. it is an original Blue SVO..... supposably none were made but the buck tag and all match up to that color and it was an svo..... i had an early 84 SVO that was silver/grey that i sold about 2 years ago..... wish i would have kept it.....

i was refering to the years in general, of course the comp. car is rare, and i never knew about the blue color though, ours is all white with a black wing........it would run with a GT fiarly well though, i always thought the boost switch was the sweetest option on the car.....7 pounds for driving.....13 pounds for racing......

ya the premium switch is cool. it also changes the timing map since you can run reg on the low setting and have to run 93+ on prem. setting. in good running order they are some really fast cars. i personally believe that ford quit making them because they thought that noone would buy the GT's or v-8's if they could buy a 4 banger that ran faster and had better fuel efficiency......
