Default Coil Springs

I just put the Moog 7226S coils on my 91 D250. They are 1" taller than the 7226 coils according to Moog. I am happy with them. My truck now sets level and the ride is better. I will post pics if I can figure out how.

Default Moog 7226S Spring installation

Can I install these without compressing them? I am pretty sure old ones will fall out once lower control arm is lowered from ball joint, but will the new ones go back in, as they will be a bit longer I would think. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
