Default custom first gen grille

I wanted something different on my 1st gen, I've seen people paint the stock grilles, put mesh inserts in them, and even do some cool things with the inserts, but couldn't really find anyone who sold the inserts, or custom grilles for our trucks that didn't want an arm and a leg for ghem, so I decided to build my own...

Let me know what you guys think!

How much would you charge to make one like that?

I like the idea the bolts around the outside give it a rugged look. I think it needs a big C-U-M-M-I-N-S across the front or some ram horns, maybe something to give it that extra kick. Do you build it to pick up the factory grill insert tabs?

Not sure what you mean by the last part, for this specific grille it requires cutting the center out of the factory grille and then bolting this in.

I figured that's what you were asking. It mounts in the 4 corners with long bolts that have the same head (so they look identical) as all of the other bolts. They bolt through existing mounting holes that the inserts initialy bolted to.

Very nice! And for the 89/90 guys with a thicker grill, you ll be able to fit an intercooler be hide it very easily.
