voltage regulator problems??? need help!

Default voltage regulator problems??? need help!

hello. ive got a 91 intercooled cummins and been having troubles with my voltage regulator. ive changed my regulator a couple times now,went through all of the wiring,checked plugs even changed the altonator and cannot seem to find the issue. it seems to work fine for a month or so then regulator fails again and causes over charging of the battery...PLEASE HELP!!!!! has anyone had this problem before???

Try getting a different brand of voltage regulator.

I went through about three of them before I finally got one that stuck for years since.

I did put my field coil in the alternator on a dash switch so I could just turn the alternator off when the voltage regulator went out and started charging at 20+ volts.
