hey guys, i got some questions for you guys on a seat conversion. A friend just gave me some seats out of a 99. they are 40-20-40 seats, so they got the middle console. I also have a pair of third gen buckets. the 2nd gen seats do not match my interior at all so i looked into getting them reupholstered but thats too expensive. however i can afford to have the middle console done the same color as the 3rd gen seats (which match my interior) So i would have 3rd gen bucket seats with a middle console seat from a 2nd gen. Has anyone ever done this?
feedback, comments, advice would all be great!
BTW: i have the complete frame for the 2nd gen seats and no frame for the 3rd gen seats

 

I use the clubcab seat's from a 2000 dodge with the built in seat belt's and love em had to make them fit my truck better but they ride nice on long run's .

 

Sounds like an interesting idea! But, what about seat covers on the 2nd gen seats to help match your interior? Just an idea
