so today i was installing and new govenor spring while i had the top of my pump apart i noticed that the gear at the front of the pump had little nicks out of each gear all the way around...

So my question has anyone else had this happen? Is this common wear or is my pump about to grenade on me. Any input would be apreciated thanks.
