Default Does This Look Bent To You?

Does this look right to you guys? My steering is off and I can't figure out why. I think the draglink might be bent, but I can't tell without another one right next to it.

Post up a picture of yours, or just look at yours and tell me if mine looks different.

it pulls to the passenger side, and the steering is offcenter. Half a turn of the steering wheel to the drivers side makes my truck go straight. I can't figure out whats wrong.

jack the front end off the ground and put 2 jack stands under the frame allowing the whole front suspension to dangle

get under there and check everything .......look for loose parts on the track bar, steering arms, pitman arm, steering box and anything else that moves.....check yer ball joints too

The truck is jacked up and being supported by the jackstands you can see in the background of the pictures under the frame. These trucks don't have ball joints...

Tires, Rotate them around and see how it drives then.

The secret for a big truck on Big tires to drive straight is : Rotate, Rotate, Rotate.

Could be your whole axle is misaligned, or your tie rod isn't setup right, meaning you have too much toe in or out. And your right, they don't have balljoints, but kingpins can still wear out, especially if they are way overtaxed, ie. big tires. Check them to see if they are loose at all.

I would take some measurements and find out if your springs are truly parallel, it may be a long shot, but it happens.

Other than that, take it to an alignment shop and let them try to figure it out.

If your truck pulls fairly hard in the same direction as the wheel is off then I'd bet on tires.

Another possibility is a dragging brake caliper. I've had one bad enough to turn the wheel. If you step on the brakes fairly hard does the truck do straight?
