Its funny, cause for years It was my daily driver on 44s, Until this dumb *** state changed its lift laws allowing nothing over a 38 inch actual dia tire. That and gas was only a little over a buck or two a gallon.. Im grandfathered with total lift, but had to drop tire size. This state only allows 6 inches over stock tire or 38s,whichever is less.. One major reason Im moving out of this state. I cant enjoy any of my toys,,,Truck/wheeling,Nowhere to ride my ATV,ect. Im going to a state that has NO lift laws or inspection. Looking at FL,TX,AZ. Somewhere that isnt as cold like here and I can play when I want. Not having to take a 2hr drive into PA to take out the bronco or grizzly. Whats worse,is Im a mechanic. Can build, fabricate, lift whatever, but I cant figure what ratio to use.. Im used to my gas engine and I had a tach to go by. Like I said. Im planning to go back to 44s. I have to see where Im at after that and then determine what ratio to go to. That and put a tach kit in. Thanks Beard for the info. It does help.

I went all forum grandpa on you, telling you that I wouldn't run big tires on a DD, like it's any of my business what tires you run. It sticks in my craw when people do that, and I just did it.
