Default Spooling a II phatshaft 62/65/12

been searching for hours. just need some opinions/experience with what size injectors to spool this turbo, with plans of putting a s475 with it. I used 6x12's with this turbo on my '02 but I cant find what size relates to that in 5 or 7 hole injectors. im building this truck for a street sleeper/daily driver. any help is much appreciated. thanks

FWIW... my HX35 has that size exhaust housing and it spools fast with 5x12s - and I don't have the fuel turned up much yet.

I'd suspect 6x12 is a good place to start. I think 6 holes is the sweet spot really. And you can run 14mm head with those. If anything, maybe a larger exhaust housing later on if you find it gets too hot.

Sorry, thought is was a 'normal' size... after a little searching it seems guys have their stockers EDM'ed or honed out. I'm only speculating on the match for your turbo.

I found this for a 14mm head and 6x16 combo:
Rocken, Tech, Diesel, fuel, Injection, Pumps, Performance, Rotor, Heads, Camplates, Nozzles

6x16's are MASSIVE! way to much fuel in my opinion for something on the street. if your running it in a compound set-up ide be in the 5x16's range, as a single 5x12's

these are cross section areas.
5x9.5= .000345 (many stock 12 valves)
5x12 = .000565
5x13 = .000663
5x14 = .000769
7x10 = .000549 (24v conv injector are usually 7 hole)
7x12 = .000794
6x13 = .000795
5x15 = .000882
6x14 = .000923
5x16 = .001005
6x15 = .001059
7x14 = .001077
5x17 = .001134
6x16 = .001206
5x18 = .001272
6x17 = .001360
5x19 = .001416
6x18 = .001526
5x20 = .001570
6x20 = .001884
5x22 = .001900
5x24 = .002261
6x22 = .002280
5x25 = .002459

I made 36psi with 5x12's, 55psi with 6x16s and burys a 60psi gauge with 5x25s and the 14mm....also doesn't make power without nitrous

Edit: The 12mm VE can only put out about 450-500rwhp worth of fuel, which a 62mm can do by itself. So I'd skip the twins unless you're towing.

450 is starting to reach the safe limit on the 62mm.
