Default No Power at higher RPM 1st gen

Hi guys,

I'm a diesel rookie and need some help please.

I have a 93 D250 with stick-shift (getrag)
As far as I can tell, everything is pretty much stock
Everything serviced about 3500 miles ago (fuel-filter / air / oil / valve-lash)
Checked turbo, which has some play, but by no means hitting housing (just under 10 psi boost)

Here is my recently developped problem:

When I need power, like climbing a hill, or even just mildly "stepping on it", it just don't wanna go and even runs "stumbly".
It starts fine and idles great; I get it to move as long as I don't step on it.
First I thought diesel - gelling (cold outside) poured some diesel 911 in tank, seemed to help at first, but now its the same thing.

Before I start tearing into the pump, I was hoping to get a few suggestions

BTW I replaced liftpump about 8000 miles ago and truck always ran great.

Thanks for any help.

Forgot to mention that it has 135,000 miles

I would start by looking at intake and/or exhaust for restrictions/leaks. Look at the entire systems from one end to the other. Next, I'd be looking at fuel/fuel supply restrictions/leaks. Same thing, from inside the fuel tank to the injectors.

+1, I was thinking a leak somewhere in your boost plumbing.
