Default Slow from the go

Just bought my 92 D250 auto 2wd. After much research from sites and threads. I start to tune on my pump. I find out the fuel pin is turned full and the star wheel is bottomed out. I have adjusted the smoke screw some. It is slow to build boost. Not much smoke and slow from a stop light. I get 22 mpg. Just removed the muffler so i have straight 3" all the way out the back. Any ideas?

You're not going to gain power until you mess with the fuel screw....I gained 70rwhp on my mostly stock truck after 3 turns. Be careful of runaway. Will help down low too, but all diesels will have some turbo lag.
