Default DDP Injectors

So the injectors in my truck are starting to go out and I've been looking into getting new ones. My question is why do DDP injectors have such a bad reputation online? They're priced competitively with other injectors and people I know that have run them love them, but on all the forums everyone just talks about how they are overpriced and low quality. Also what are good injectors to buy for my truck? I don't tow very often and the truck is pretty much stock but I plan on doing a Gsk, fuel pin, valve springs, and a 16cm turbo housing in the near future.

well as I have stated in other threads I had one fuel to much on #3 and torched the piston.. they were 8 months old and less than 9000 miles on them.. they didn't want to even give my money back after destroying my engine. btw the engine was new with the injectors.. larry at ddp is a total rude joker!!! never again!!! If it was not for pure diesel power arguing with larry I would have had to take them to court or drive there and break his neck!!

If you are not going to upgrade your turbo you will be limited in what you can get out of more fuel.

DAP injectors are EDM, then extrude honed and balanced to +/- 0.03LPM

Focus here before changing injectors:
"Gsk, fuel pin, valve springs, and a 16cm turbo housing in the near future."

So I think I'm going to go with DFI's 5x0.012's but my question is if I mainly daily drive it should I go with SAC or VCO injectors? I want to get rid of as much of the haze at idle that I have now as possible.

so I got my DFI 5x.012 SAC's last week and installed them on Saturday. I'm really happy with them no more haze at idle, went from 14 to around 21-22 mpg, and they are more responsive.
