Block heater and toaster
Can anybody tell me which wires need to go where to put a new plug on my block heater? And if somebody can give me a quick rundown on how to put my grid heater on a switch I would greatly appreciate it
Standard block heaters that go in place of a freeze plug have three round terminals. The middle is for neutral, and the outside two get positive and negative in any order.
Hopefully this helps.

I disconnected my grid heater entirely. However, I would run it on a manual momentary pushbutton with a relay - that way you aren't running 30+ amps to a switch on your dash.
Since the block heater is 120volt AC, there is a ground, hot, and neutral. The hot and neutral doesn't matter which is which since it is a simple heating element.
