Default Need tranny and rear axle info.

Hey 1st I'm wantin to put in a locking torque converter into my o/d tranny cause I'm losing a lot of power. And I want a locking rear end but don't want to lose my speed (conversion maybe? For higher ratio?) Thx!

I don't think you can just add a lockup converter. Guys swap to the 47RH (94+) to get the lockup.

A governor spring will give you more rpm, and more power at higher rpm. Its cheap... like $20-30 or something.

If you have 4.10 ratio, 3.54 gears can be swapped in for more speed. Taller ratios can be done (3.08, 3.21, 3.31) with axle swaps and other skullduggery.
