Default 366 spring ?s

Hey guys, have some questions about the 3200 GS aka 366 spring. I know it allows you to fuel to 3200, but here's the thing.. With my high idle removed, throttle rod moved and shortened, and my foot to the floor, the truck fuels past 3500 (haven't gone much further to test, no 60# valve springs...yet). Boost holds steady at 26 psi, the only thing stopping me is the valve springs and my egt's. will the 366 spring change the power curve? Or is it just so it fuels to higher rpms?
