No. They are a very different set up than that of the old VW diesels.

You have a remotely mounted KSB. On the Dodge applications it is normally attached to the injection pump on the lower outboard side.

Now I understand the remote KSB.So it needs to be plumbed into the fuel line coming to the inlet of the IP? The electricial end is feed full time hot wire, with a resistor, and on/off a sencor on the rear of the head. Thanks for all the help.Really was hoping not to splice into the fuel line any more then needed. But this is needed.

Where you have the tape measure pointed to is where fuel comes out and goes to the KSB. There should be another line off the KSB that goes to plate on the side of the injection pump toward the bottom. Where you have something that looks like a barb fitting is the main fuel inlet. I was going to take a picture of mine so you can get an idea, but my camera battery is dead. I'll try to get i tomorrow. From what you are describing electrically, you have the solenoid type and not the wax motor KSB. It is supposed to be wired in parallel to the shut off solenoid as you described.

Where my tape is pointing,is just inboard the main feed port. There is a block attached to the IP body and on the inner side of that block(you can not see) the stainless braided line is connected. It is coming from the KSB (in the first photo) directly behind the tube that makes a small loop and reconnects to the KSB.
In the first photo(again). The small tube leaving the KSB heading to the right in the photo. It is to be connected in tamden on top of the banjo fitting(not in the photo).that fitting was the main feed to the inlet port. With that being said I was going to "T" into the main feed line to supply line pressure fuel to the KSB. Will be elementing the factory fuel filter.
As far as the wiring I'll have to see what in left in the bus to see if there is enough to make heads or tails of things. Also there is no shut off solenoid. A cable pull handle shuts it down.Might it be a key on,hot wire, via a temp sensor at the rear on the head, that is connected to the electrical terminal on the KSB?? That would need to be wiried in with a ballast resistor to keep voltage at a minium.
Thank you very much Cougar and have a great weekend, whats left.

This is a picture of the IP configuration on my Dodge 1st gen. This is the typical set up. As you can see, the small tube runs from a block similar to the one you have with the braided hose to the KSB. The large line next to it is the fuel supply line to the IP. Can you get some pictures at different angles of the KSB and that other line? How many lines are attached to the KSB? There should only be 2, both coming from different places on the IP and neither should be connected to the supply line.

I did a search for other installations and came up with zero. Doesn't look like I can help you, sorry.
