I've got two different things going on, one is the air blows out the vents all the time, no matter what I select on the control, so I've got to chase some vacuum actuators and hoses...anything common on these I should look at first?

and the fan doesn't blow a whole lot, I have to wiggle the switch sometimes going from 3 to 4, so I have a new switch to put in. I noticed in my service manual it said if the switch is burned to check the power draw of the blower motor...is it common for these things to go out or...?? my dad's 91 blows a ton of air and is crazy cold, mine is not. actually, it does blow pretty cold but the blower motor isn't at proper capacity.

 

My little switch on the AC controls went out and that happened. It was like $20 or so from the dealership. You don't have to replace the whole thing, just the fan part.
