Default Upkeep

I have a 92 with 130k on the motor and i have the motor out and changing the gaskets lift pump, exhaust manifold and studs as well as the head gasket and putting in arp head bolts and the kp delete kit. i was just wondering since the motor is out what other things i should change or replace on it to freshin it up.

Don't forget the rear main!

You could buy a bosch seal kit while the engine is out and re-seal the ve pump. Maybe add a 366 spring while you're in there.

if you have it out

water pump and seal
oil pump
oil cooler
rear and front main seal
cam bearing
fix the dowel pin
check your timing pin, some times those leak oil
new manifold gasket
new turbo gasket
new oil lines
new front gear housing gasket and front cover gasket

it all depends on what you want to do, some people go with "if it aint broke, dont fix it"

what I would do if it is mine, complete rebuild, clean block, paint it , the whole nine yards.

thanks guys that gives me a little more insite alot of the stuff i got coming already just didnt list it i was thinking about painting the block and everything but i work in the oilfield and only get a week off so i dont have alot of time to do everything
Dan whats the 366 spring?
