My truck is stock except the full power screw is turned up a full turn, i have the 3 speed auto with overdrive and i have roughly 300,000 kms on it and from as far as i can tell i dont have a boost leak , could someone please help me with my first truck? I just wanna hold 100 on a hill from what my dad says these trucks have tremendous power but so far i cant see it , any help as to what might be wrong?

Is your high idle screw removed? That will help, a 3200gov spring will help to. Mine even up hill will hold speed no problem, with minimal peddle adjustment. I can do over 100mph or 160km/h for you Canadian folk. That's with just a fuel pin, turned up pump, high idle screw MIA, and 3200 spring. A timing bump will help with the top end power also.

It will give you more rev, move your throttle open by hand the screw it hits on the head of the front of the pump remove it. You want the throttle to be able to hit the head of the pump at WOT. Plus if it is in to far it will limit what fueling you have. Are you just out of throttle, or are you just low on power? Do you have gauges[egt, boost, fuel psi]? If so how much boost are you pushing up the hill, and what's your pyro say? If your out of power going up hill then you may have something wrong with your truck. Mines the same year and trans as yours, and at stock power with nothing wrong I would have to be going up a very steep hill not to keep the speed limit with just pushing the peddle in a little more. With it turned up it makes it even easier. Do you know what you fuel pressure is? If your not getting fuel your not getting power.
