Default hx-35???

Hey guys, i think i am making to much boost and flowing too much fuel for my little h1c to handle..my 25 psi gauge is maxing out at a half throttle 3rd gear pull...i am also smoking more than i would like...i dont even have injectors yet but plan on them soon...will an hx-35 fit my needs or should i go hx40...also, after this turbo upgrade and injectors, will i still be below 50 psi of boost because i am buying a new gauge soon and dont want another one too small...also will the new turbo bolt right on with ease or is it a little difficult..and my h1c does not have a wastegate so can i get a non-wastegated 35 or 40

An HX35 will more than likely blow at 50 psi. If I was you I'd go with an HX40. But yes the HX35 does bolt right up to it. You just need an oil line from a second gen because the fitting on the HX35 is smaller than the H1C for some reason. I think the HX40 will bolt right up also but im not 100% sure.

Or put a HE351vgt on it from a common rail cummins

and you can weld the wastegate shut

Any more then 30 35lbs and you could lift the head if you haven't already studed it
I just did my hx35 swap 3 days ago and loving it I'm using my gate to be on the safe side im only making 25lbs till I throw in my boost elbow then 30 my pumps pushing as much fuel as I can with the screw and star wheel all in stock injectors Not much of a smoke difference going from the h1c way faster spool time tho egts difference was minimal

I do believe the hx40s have a much weeker shaft then the 35 to

the hx35 will bolt right up just make sure you have the right manifold flange (t3-t4) i had an hx35 see almost 60lbs for almost a year before it blew and it had 230k on it your gonna want head studs though if your thinking about that much boost, and the hx40 is a nice lil upgrade from the 35 but more than likely it will have a wastegate on it already wich you can adjust with an elbow as im sure you know but with near stock work you have done i found the lower boost range of around 30-40 worked best on my p-pumped 12v obviously much more than stock but safe for the turbo and a great power increase anything more i felt it was over kill
