Im rebuilding my 1st gen frame n having trouble finding new rear shackles and the brackets as well as the front of the rear brackets/hangers too. Also the bracing that goes from frame to frame over the gas tank. I have a 1992 w250 4wd ext cab long box

 

I understand that those shackles are a dealer item. I tried to find them recently as well, but didn't have much luck. I went to a local truck shop here in Baltimore, and found a steel sleeved rubber bushing that fit. I sliced the shackle and dug the old poured in bushing out, then pushed the new bushing in and welded the slice. I had to be careful not to put too much heat into them while welding because the rubber wanted to burn.
