When I pulled the stock pin out, it pushed the pin that rides on the cutout in and is stuck. I've tried all kinds of lube and stuff. It's too small of an area to get at with needle noses. I'm trying to install a M and H #2.

Anyone have any tips to get that pin free and moving out again? Any help would help get me on the road again. I have no power and am bummed.

If you have a small pick you could try and jiggle it to get it free. Otherwise it is time to rip into the pump and see what the problem is. Only other thing is to fill the fuel filter with sea foam or your choice of lube and hope you can get it free by driving it. Good luck!

It will clean everything out. I'm sure people have different opinions on it, but I never had a problem. I ran that stuff in just about everything I owned in high concentration when I first got it to clean it out. We even used to spray gumout (carb and choke cleaner) in while keeping the throttle up in gas motors to clean them out.

 

Nowhere near my unit to check but Bosch had to get that pin in there in the first place and looking at what pic's I can find there would appear to be a plug in the front of the housing that may give access to the pin or lever it works against. May let you push it back in.

 

Yes there is. I had same problem. Take the throttle linkage off underneath the TPS if you have an overdrive trans, take the throttle stops off, make sure to index it, and remove the small pipe plug. Push the governor stop pin out, I cycled mine back and forth, and reinstalled. Makes you wonder how the pin was working before.

 

Did you try working the throttle to wide-open? That should push the needle back toward the fuel-pin.
