overall, pulling loads and crusin, whats a better turbo a smaller one or larger one? mine is a stock turbo and i cant hear my turbo unless i let off the throttle. im also looking to trade my 1993 D350 12 valve for a W250-350 i need the 4x4 if anyone can help please do.

I did a 60mm compressor upgrade with the 18cm exhaust housing and it made a big difference in power and i love it for towing.

 

mine is 3inch exhaust and stock turbo. can i just get a smaller or bigger one for better performance and not have to worry about anything else? also can i put a 2nd gen turbo on it?

 

I dont know how hard it is to do a second gen turbo! other people that know about that i am sure will chime in! As far as as 3in and 4in exhaust for a mildly build or stock motor i dont think you will notice anything. I have 4 inch all the way out and didnt notice a difference anywhere! I had a 3 inch turbo pipe at first with the rest 4 inch! how this helps!
