Default Egt's??

I'm thinking about doing a timing bump and putting a 366 spring in. I don't have gauges yet so I want to know if this will rais my egt's too much? Any help with my question would be appreciated!

the governor sprin will be fine to put in without a pyrometer gauge. I have the 366 spring and the fuel pin and dont have gauges yet but i do need them really bad before i do anything else to my truck

I see what you're saying now. I've got a home made intake with a bhaf. Stock fuel pin (turned to steepest side) and minor pump tuning. I haven't even messed with the power screw yet (since I have no gauges yet)

Ya I'll probably just wait till I get gauges then. What gauges are you using and are you happy with them? I'm thinking about isspro ev2s
