Default Too Much Timing Advance

alright fellas got one for ya, what are the side affects of too much timing? did the 1/8 inch spin with the ratchet strap and had the fuel screw way in, when you would rev it up it would fall real hard before returning to idle. recently i serviced the killer dowel and resealed back of front cover, pulled the cam and the whole 9 yards, upon reassemble i clocked the pump and the cam on the "C" valley. installed dennys AFC delete and rolled the pump back the other way. no more falling hard from high rpm. returns to idle smoothly. twisted the pump a little back to the advanced direction and noticed a slight "fall" again before returning to idle. i want to know if that is directly related to the timing advance or if you think somthing else might be going on it doesnt want to runaway or nothin but could it be my fuel screws in to far?

You might have jumped the timing a tooth or more too and caused more problems, mine does not want to die sometimes with the 1/4 inch advance timing on the injection pump advance which is possible. If you did more than one thing all at once you definitely may have problems.

I'm gonna say it's to do with the AFC delete.

no the condition i am describing is pre acf delete and killer dowel service. it didnt do it post assembly. but just for the sake of knowing i was just wanting to see what you guys thought it might have been. its hard to say really, i pulled the cam and the afc delete and altered timing all at the same time and when i was done it didnt do it any more.
im guessing tho its a timing issue, because when i went back togather on the dowel service i set in back to nearly stock timing, pured like a cat.. then rolled it counter clockwise some and it has a small hesitation again returning to low idle from high idle.

got it sorted out tonight just playin around with it, too much fuel screw

That shouldn't do it. If you go to the fender with the pump past stock timing marks your retarding the timing. To advance it go towards the cylinder head.

I think he's looking from the other way man. From the front of the engine.
