Default new turbocharger

I'm wanting to upgrade turbos, or make my H1C better. I've got an hx40 rebuild kit. and HX40 wastegated turbos are like 300 bucks on ebay. my truck is a 92 auto, making the H1C a 21cm housing. instead of piecing together, would a whole new turbo be a better idea. and do we have a T3 or T4 flange? i'm shooting for 250- 300 ponies, truck is all stock right now. any opinions please.

250-300 is easy to get for very little $. Turn up your screw, replace your governor springs, build yourself a cold air intake, run a big pipe out back, regrind your fuel pin, POD injectors are nice, the 3 piece expandable exhaust manifold, along with your new turbo ought to get you there no problem.
Gotta get a little rpm up in that motor, should be do-able for less than $700 if ya choose wisely....alot less with good used parts....

I'm going down this path. I'm looking at a 3200 rpm spring, Denny T Pin, HX40, 2nd Gen Liftpump, stage 4 injectors and 4" out back. I too am looking for 300+ and think this will be the ticket. I will be over $700 but will do it in stages. I already have a fresh air box in place and I will probably make a new intake side with a 6.0l intercooler. I hope it will be a good combination of power, fuel economy and playability.

Get the 60mm compressor upgrade and the 14cm trubine housing upgrade, 5x12 nozzles from DAP, 4inch turbo back, BHAF, M3 pin, TFOD shift kit and a good converter, bump timing 1/8 and drive it. You will have over 300hp, it will spool quick and have about 35 lbs of boost and run cool egt wise, have good economy and little smoke if you tune it right. Be a responsive daily driver and suprise some guys with late model stuff.

We have combo kits available as well if you want turbo and injectors. We also have 5x.013 nozzles and some in a SAC style.
