Default 1st gen no power?

so I have a pretty much stock non intercooled 1st gen. pump is turned up a little, straight pipe, and cold air intake.Has the 727 torqueflite transmission.
ive had the truck for a while . but recently it fell flat on its face. i will be on the freeway going 60 and its wide open.
feels like something is luggin it down . doesnt feel snappy. barely smokes now. my tranny fluid is not burnt. (some metal shavings on the magnet in the tranny pan..but was pretty clean down there.)

does the throttle valve cable need to be adjusted?

or does it seem like not enough fuel?
(i used to have 30 pounds of boost wide open..now im lucky if i get over 10)

any help is appreciated.. just want my power back!

What's the idle feeling like? Choppy or luggish?

A new lift pump would not hurt. Here's a great upgrade. Reliable Company too. > 89-93 dodge 1st gen low pressure piston lift pump | eBay
