Fuel filter? The fuel heater could be leaking at the o ring above the fuel heater too. Uh, Is the fuel filter stopped up, fuel pick up problem? The fuel stop plunger on mine got stuck and mine had no power due to that! So it could be lots of things.

Some what related... Governor pin, that rides on the fuel pin( actuated by boost pressure) could be hung up. I pulled my fuel pin out to turn it to deepest setting and thats what it took to get the governer pin to stick. when re assembled, the engine had no guts. i took the throttle linkage off, pulled the plug on the front of the aneroid out and pushed the governer pin free, shot some pather **** in there, got it freed up. works great now.

i could be wrong here guys but could the injector lines be possibly stopped up? im thankin since you put new injectors and lift pump and new filters the injector lines may deliver enough fuel for start up and idle but not carry the amount of fuel needed to let the motor open up because of being clogged.is that ever a problem with these first gen 12v cummins?just my thankin

No. If that were the case, you'd have bigger problems than the injector lines being plugged.

How about inter cooler boots, intake horn, not getting enough boost? The fuel pin not dropping or a bad fuel pin diaphram? Just a thought

This engine doesn't have an inter cooler. It has an after cooler. I don't know much about the injection pump but I am going to give it a shot after I try to find a diagram of what to do. If anyone has a diagram that would be appreciated.

Farm Diesel has Red Dye that can sludge up and gum things up, don't know if this applies or not.
