ATTN water in fuel sensor leak

I noticed my truck was leaking fuel at the top of the filter. I got a new one and changed it. It still leaked and unplugged the sensor at the top and the plug is saturated. Should i just get a new one or is there a way to delete it?

I also noticed i had a coolant leak from the block heater. Went and bought a new block heater and after i installed it i still goy a leak I any special way to install

Can't help on the block heater never changed one but I hear if you don't it perfectly clean she will leak again. Or try some bars leak. That's the fuel heater above the filter the WIF sensor screws into the bottom of the filter. You can unscrew the heater get a shorter bung for it. think that's the name then screw the filter back on.

Here ya just what you need.

Wouldnt it be harder to start without the fuel heater? I think the water drain might also be leaking. Anyone have a p/n for a filter with out the drain

Well in an attempt to see what was leakin on the filter i managed to forget the major rule about not using pliars near threaded . Hopefully i can find a piece at home depot to serve as a temporary fix

Its real common for the o ring above the fuel heater, for the fuel heater to leak, its between the intake and fuel heater, it dry rots n leaks lots of fuel sometimes.
