water in fuel tank?

Default water in fuel tank?

My truck was sitting outside in the rain for the weekend at my school since no insurance , and when i tried to start it up the battery was dead ? , and it says ( water in fuel tank ) above the wait to start light ..... is it just condensation from rain or do you think there is a serious problem here ? ... i will try and get it home today cuz ill charge the battery but if that doesent work i dont want to screw up my engine

i have an ace bandage as a gas cap... a little water in your fuel wont hurt it.

Why don't you try draining the water? From the fuel/water drain valve

bolth mine and my dads truck do this when it rains and nothing ever happens
