My truck was sitting outside in the rain for the weekend at my school since no insurance , and when i tried to start it up the battery was dead ? , and it says ( water in fuel tank ) above the wait to start light ..... is it just condensation from rain or do you think there is a serious problem here ? ... i will try and get it home today cuz ill charge the battery but if that doesent work i dont want to screw up my engine

Why don't you try draining the water? From the fuel/water drain valve
