Got the truck steering left and right now, but it will only allow 3 revolutions of the wheel.(A turn takes about 120 feet.)
Is this fixed with the adjuster screw on the box?

The boxes appear to be the same box. I read it either here on DB or on CF that the nipple didn't make a difference but would like to know why it's there(was there). The picture I attatched is not the identical box I received. The box I received looks like the proper one attatched in picture one, however with the little nipple on the shaft like in the second picture I added. Yah follow me?

Something is hitting the pitman arm, its not fixed with the adjustment screw.

Pitman arm is not hitting anything. Currently no play in steering but seems tight. What is that adjuster bolt for then? Seems dumb to have an adjuster screw if it doesn't adjust anything.. Going to attempt adjusting it regardless and see what happens if no one else has any input.

The adustment screw just tightens the gears. If its too tight, I'm not so sure, maybe its adjusted too tight, but may just need to break in. If the remanufactuer put it together too tight or wrong, it just could be something, not sure.

DON"T tighten it up that's only to keep the gears meshed properly. as the boxes wear then you need to adjust that screw not when it's new.

What if i loosened that screw? Seems it may be too tight from remanufacturer, is that possible? If i loosen that, will i harm anything?

Could possibly end up with too loose of steering, you will just have mess with it and maybe figure it out on your own. I dunno, without being there.

You got pics of how your pitman arm sits and moves end to end sort of?

Loosening it won't change your turning radio but would cause it to wear out faster n possibly cause an accident.

Here's another option for your factory box.
