Low miles doesn't ALWAYS mean the part is in good condition.. You gotta figure, no proof if it was ALWAYS maintained properly.. not abused.. etc. But ya, go check it out! Look all over for rust, it could be hiding. I've bought a couple rigs that were claimed to have no rust but I found some.

right really need to check it out in person. he bought it froma guy who did all this work to the truck and sold t because the windows stopped working and the brake pedal got hard. he said the guy sold it instead of fixing it. this guy bought it for 500 to fix up but just bought a 2006 duramax and is selling his project trucks 2 pay for this truck. so he paid 3500 and put the tires and rims on it for an other 500. it seems it would be worth it to fix up sicehe invested 500 ut its hard to say. and this guy doesnt know much about the truck hge told me it had a different fuel plate and i correctd him saying it was fuel pin. he doesnt know much about the truck. also he live 2 hours away so for me to get the truck homei would drive it which he doesnt think i should or is buddy can haul it to my house for 200 bucks. wht to do??? I could tell hime ship it upand ill check it out and buy it i its nice or pay the driver200 and have it go back. whats everyone think

$3500 is a good deal especially with no rust. I would buy that fast before someone else does. Hint I'm looking at Craigslist in Maine now LOL!
Get it man and get it quick. Here's the deal there are less and less 1st generation dodges with the unbeatable undeniable perfection called the 12 valve cummins. The motor will last you for life and at that price with no rust you had better hurry up before I get it.
When the body rusts away in 50 years you just rebuild the motor with new pistons and sleeves and then mate it up to a PTO generator and then you have a power house of a generator for your home with fantastic fuel efficiency for a generator and more than enough power.
My point is you are sitting on a steal and there is no reason not to get it. That's a lifetime truck and will last forever as long as you change the oil and top off the fluids.
$900 is a steal but how much did you have to put into that truck? What did it cost to get it on the road and meet DOT standards?
Not trying to be disrespectful but I would much rather buy a clean truck than have to dump $2500+ to get it roadworthy.
I'm really proud of my 12V because I was driving mine when I was three years old sitting in my dads lap when the truck was brand new and now my three year old son laughs and smiles from ear to ear when I hand him the keys and set him in my lap and let him drive. Never had a problem just keep the fluids topped off, adjust the rear band every 100k, change the oil, and just frigging drive the thing. It's not meant to be a show truck it's meant to work, tow campers, drag F350's across the parking lot, haul four wheelers, and teach children how to drive. It's not a truck it's a legacy.
Until I die I will always be
