Here's the pics, she cracked from line to line n would empty the rad in about 10 minutes of driving if not careful. I drilled n tapped it to bolt a plate on n filled it with JB weld behind the plate n it really slowed the leak down but in the end it was no good. Maybe if I had done the plate when I first noticed the crack instead of putting 7k km on it after I first noticed it.

 

Oh dang, that had to suck, well it sure sucks now, that's for sure!

 

That it did. Now I got a p-pump motor in it so all is good

 

P-Pump huh, wish I had one, sure like the shape mine is in though, the turbo is in new factory shape too, never been rebuilt, did you hear about that?

 

yeah got the saught after 180 horse pump too. Yeah your trucks looks to be in nice shape. Turbo's if the oil is always clean they do last a long time. My old 90 had ver 500k km on it on the original turbo.

 

He kept the oil changed all the time, he never failed to change the oil, always had the money to keep it changed, owned his own plumbing business at least 30 years.

I put 4 bottles(overkill) of ZDDPLUS in it and Rotella Sythetic T6 High Temperature Oil in it plus I bottle of Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer in it and a bottle of STP High Mileage with ZDDP in it too. I three more bottles of ZDDPLUS to put in at 3,000 miles, 6,000, and 9,000 miles. Gonna run this synthetic oil 12,000 miles.

Especially since its high temp and it should not break down at all and made for Diesel Engines.
