I have a 1992 Cummins with a hood stack. I have only turned up the pump. But my exhaust will sputter at part throttle at low speeds, and sometimes when make sharp slow turns. Any ideas? It still has stock injectors, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

 

bad timing or bad injector my 24 valve just started that the other day and it turned out to be a stuck injector. are you smokin like a fright train..

 

I turned up the pump to get it to smoke, but it only smokes alot when I stomp on the pedal at low boost pressures. Stock injectors too.

 

Well how many miles it got? it can be Valve lash, Timing, or Injectors I had exhaust sputter just last week and it turned out to be a stuck injector. without being there kinda hard to diagnos, if you want turn back your smoke screw and see if that helps?
