Default opinions and help for my 94 12v

Hey guys i just got my 1st 12v looking for help/opinions. Its a 1994 dodge 4x4 reg cab 5 spd c&c truck. Its kinda ruff the way it sits. I have done some measureing the wheel base is almost exact what a ext short bed truck. Should i leave the truck a reg cab flat bed or ext cab short bed? I am doing this truck as a toy/project. Maybe combo of sled puller or drag truck but remaining 100% street legal.

Another question is how simiular are the frames? Would i run into any probs besides cab mounts bed mounts ect?

As of performance parts i have bought so far consist of- 4k gov springs,60# valve springsand plan to do kdp mod while im installing these parts. (thanks tony @ mighty diesel)

My hp goals 400-600hp but i think we all know hp is addicting.

thanks guys for your helpfull comments

id leave it as a Regular cab, I couldent tell you how similar the frame is, but I just leave it a regular cab because it will keep you weight low and thats what you want for draggin, unless you want a truck like mine that weighs 9400 pounds. But go find a bed and paint it a fix up the dents I think youll have a decent lookin truck..

Its your truck what you want to do with it, I dont know how much more weight a Ext cab would add. Can you not put a Short bed on?

i was trying to stay away from the frame work. but i have thought about building a short bed reg cab. if i go ext cab short bed the wheel base is perfect. i dont know what to do.
