Default offer on a eaton 5spd out of fleet truck

hi i was offered an eaton 5spd out of a cintas truck. it has everything there but the trans is a 2wd and my trucks 4x4 auto. how would i go about doing this swap? the guy wants $400 for everything but i would need to convert to 4x4. i can probly talk him to $300 so im intersted in getting rid of the slush box. any body know about these trans? i dont know if this will tell anyone anything about the trans but some numbers that were on it were 19e00 and A14434 i wouldnt be 100% sure the numbers are correct they were hard to read. please give me info on this swap thanks!

It could be done but probably not worth your time and money in the end, probably have to change the adapter on the engine make driveshafts and divorce mount your t-case just for starters, just swap an nv4500 in it if you are tired of the auto

Like Seno said, you could run a divorced case, which is fairly easy. Try to get your hand on a divorced np208 or even stronger, a np205 out of an old ford (because of the drop side of the differential). Often found in 70's and older heavier duty trucks. Check out craigslist and read up on it. Very common in the off road world to achieve better drive shaft angles with big lifts.

I've done a few so if you have any questions feel free to pm me.

Have any idea what rpms I'd be looking at cruising 70 on the freeway?

If its not an overdrive transmission the 5th gear is 1:1 ratio
