OFV cause popping sound
hi, i'm new to the forums. i've been having a popping sound coming from my truck, typically after it has been sitting for a while, and once i start driving and get above 2000 rpm's. kind of sounds like the snap crackle pop in rice crispies cereal. was curious if it could be caused from a bad ofv, my truck has 185k on it and appears to be the stock ofv. i ordered a tork tek ofv, and it says that the stock ofv allows back flow, so i'm thinking that my stock is allowing fuel to flow back thus creating a lil air pocket. it sounds like its coming from around the turbo area. once its been driven a bit it goes away. any info would be grateful, thanks.
just installed tork tek ofv, we'll see how it does in the a.m. thats typically when it does it, after its been sitting and only for the first 5 minutes or so when it gets around 2k rpm. i'll figure it out one way or the other...
