Default 1995 Dodge Cummins, wont stay running. Please help

I have a 1995 Cummins 3500 with 130,000 miles on it. It is hard starting, when it does start, it may run for about 30 seconds, then you will here a clicking noise from the injection pump area loses power starts to sputter and she shuts down. Will not restart until it totally cools off. and the same thing all over again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Fuel shut off solenoid sounds like..? 's what it sounds like to me. Are you versed in the pump, AFC, and fuel system?

Hey thanks, checked the fuel solenid, seems to be operating properly. On further checking the problem. I started the truck early this morning when it was still cooler out it started and ran fine for about 10 minutes, I almost started to think the problem corrected itself but then it sputtered and I heard a " pinging noise" coming from the injection pump, then stalled and would not restart. I think the plungers in the pump are sticking. Anybody else had this problem??? is there any trick or additive that can be added to the fuel to free up the pump. Or is the pump going to have to come out and go to the diesel injection shop.

Well what I woiuld do is change out the filters, Check for air in system, put a guage on and see what your fuel pressure is.

How hard is it to install a fuel pressure gauge? I'm about to be buying a glowshift 7-color set: boost, pyro, and fuel pressure. Just wondering how hard it is to install the set

Definitely a fuel/air mixture issue... I hate to say it but it sounds like your injection pump is going man... and that isn't cheap...
