so i found a crack free dash in the local yard. how difficult and approximatly how long does it take to get this sucker out. the yard truck is a gasser same year.

 

My friend got his out in his 98 ram 1500 with the magnum in it and it is a single cab and it took him like 1-2 hours and he had to figure it out. So I am guessing there are a few rough places wheres its hard to pop out but not to difficult.

 

The write up in the Haynes manual for pullin the dash is very helpful, takes most of the day to pull dash and heater box, replace cores, and put it back together if you're slow like me.

 

bring a cooler. never even notice the time..

 

i went to the yard today for about an hour in a half. and totally ran out of want to. the duck tape will continue to cover the sadness i call a dash.

 

Yea taking the dash out is a project! I agree with the cooler
