95 v10 dodge to 12 valve p-pump bus motor
Got a 1995 dodge 4x4 v10, aquired dirt cheap, as well as a 12 valve p-pumped 12 valve motor out of a school bus with an allison at545 that I also got for next to nothing. i want to swap the v-10 fir the cummins and bolt it up to the 47rh, probably sell/scrap the at545. just joined the forum but from my research i know i will need the trans adapter plate, motor mounts, flex plate and probably starter and tq. Thats just to get everything bolted up, I know I will have to adjust shift points for lower stall etc. I would like to know if theyre are going to be any serious road blocks in using this bus motor for my project before I start. I did some research on forums and heard that alot of the accesories arent going to matchup like a/c pwr steering, etc. These are some what minor to me but if anyone knows of something(s) that I'm forgetting and are 100% vital in the drivetrain please chime in. I'm about to start this but dont want to get halfway through then realize I'm going to get royally nickel and dime f*****
which is probably already going to happen even if it did work. If someone has done this project or something close let me know, thanks
