A friend of mine has a 1995 Dodge cummins and you will be driving down the road and it just dies.There is no fuel in the filter but if you prime the lift pump it will start and go for 5 or 6 miles and it does the same thing just wondering if anyone had ideas?It has a new filter and lift pump and the prefilter is clean but there is a filter on the frame and I was wondering if thats a factory item because my 1997 dont have one.

 

Remove the filter on the frame and run it straight. let me know if it works.

 

I was talking to him over the phone and he didnt tell me that it had a tank in the bed so the selector valve went bad thanks for the help.
