Default NO AIR OUT OF THE VENTS

I cant get the ac or heater to blow out the vent it only blows out of the defrost and floor I was wondering if anyone had any ideas?

Your switch proably broke that redirects the air.

The switch on the dash has a slide bar on the back side. On mine the rubber that blocks and redirects the vacuum came loose and wadded up not letting it switch off of def. It's not to hard to take apart and reglue the rubber to the slide bar.

I had that problem and it ended up being a broken vacuum line under the hood. Worth a look.

Agreed! i used to have an awesome vacuum line diagram, computer crashed tho

If it was vacum then wouldnt my 4x4 not work and wouldnt it not switch from floor to defrost?

Not necessarily... The two lines that run toy you 4wd actuator may not be broken and still work fine!

Agreed, the line that was broken on my truck was the one that runs to the passengers side across the firewall that feeds into where the blower is.
