Hey guys I bought what a guy called a 47rh and it seems to have alot of more plugs onit than i would imagine so i was wondering if someone could tell me some ways of identifying it, thanks alot, also, do i need to run a shim between the transmission and the adapter? thanks!!!

the plug at the botom of your shifter is neutal park switch the one closest to the main trans body is your lock up and the one on the tail is speedo it is an rh

 

Iirc, the neutral safety switch also turns on reverse lights

 

awesome, now next question, do i need to have a shim in between the bellhousing and the adapter? also will a dipstick from a 47re work? i mean dipstick tube and dipstick? thanks alot!

 

the dipstick and tube will work fine and you should not need a shim

 

well as luck would have it that one sold what about a 46re? will that tube work? thanks!
