4wd Light
I just put in my new clutch this weekend and after I got everything all put back together I noticed the 4wd light is on when the shift lever is in 2H position. I did have the linkage apart and transfer case off the trans to do the clutch but everything went back together the way it came apart. Anyways the truck IS in 4wd when shift lever is in 4wd position and IS in 2wd when lever is in 2H postion, why is the indicator light oposite of what it is suppose to be??
The front axle engages and disengages but the t case isn't if I'm thinking right. I jacked the front end up and in 2H the drivers side wheel spins freeley then in 4h both front wheels turn but they shouldn't turn if t case is in 4wd correct? I disconnected the sensor last night and plugged it back in, still does it though.
I will give that a shot tonight, i thought it was pretty straight forward though. The vacuum line head was shaped like an arrow with 4 female ends and the male ends on the t case lined up. That is about all I can think off that would be any different from when I took it out though. Thanks guys and matt I saw your video about door panel replacement and looked on your site but could find any panels, do you carry them or know where to find a set besides ebay?
check the sensor on the front axle actuator

Yea there is only one way that vacuum head hooks up to the t case I tried rotating it but it won't go on any other way.

Does the front axle engage? If not, the vacuum lines could be cracked or torn. If it engages, the sensor or light bulb could be bad, or the wiring between them may be damaged.
It could be a bad sensor/wire/connection.... Or your front axle may just not engage.
