So you have a Dually ?

I'm not sure what ply they were. They might of been $230 lol. I think I'm leaning towards the General AT or the nittos.

Baddodges might chime in here and tell you the same thing but check out tread wright recaps. They are decent tires and are pretty cheap. The only thing is alot of the 285's for a 16" rim are on back order right now. between the tires you mentioned, the majority of people seem to be running BFG's but I have heard of some guys doing good with general grabbers. Good Luck:tu:

Nitto's seem popular but I've never had any, just beware if you go with recaps you're gambling with you're dually fenders :c:

Yeah I have had bad experiences with retreads. Will never buy one lol.

Would a spacer for the rear be needed for 285/75/17's?

Thanks for the replies :))

That I can't answer, the only dually's I've drove were company trucks with stock size tires but I'd bet that you would. :c:

did you ever get bigger tires for your dually? i have always ran 235, but would like to go bigger. just worried about them rubbing in the rear

265/75/16 I believe will fit with a 1"spacer ....... then u get extreme ...... start putting large spacers will cause breakage@ studs ..... and can also under real heavy loads break welds on wheels ........ in my exp .... keep it under or real close to 1" max ...... my $.02
